Because, in Canada, Remembrance Day is next week.
I am too young to have experienced WWII first-hand. But it's not just about the Great wars. It's about the ongoing conflicts all over the place. I don't have to agree with the ideology behind War, but I can't help but be in absolute awe of the sacrifice so many have made on our behalf. How can I be anything but grateful? We are who we are, in part, because of their sacrifices. Please consider posting an image, this week, in grateful thanks for those who died on our behalf, in the pursuit of and defense of freedom.
